I use a similar woven bowl at home for holding my keys. Since I started that, no more “where did I put them?” Weaving porcelain is a challenging task. The clay has to have just the right moisture to remain pliable, yet not be so wet it sticks together at the slightest contact or so dry it cracks easily where bent. Making this bowl required constant soothing, smoothing, and whispered prayers for the clay to stay workable long enough to complete the weaving.
